Smoking can entail a lot of problems, and cleaning problems are some of them. From the question of where to put ash to how to remove the smell of the smoke, smokers face several issues. For a nonsmoker, there is nothing less welcoming than the smell of smoke in a home. Furthermore, there is a smoker in nearly every house; only a few households may be free of them, so it is important to keep your space clean.
Getting Rid of Smoke Smell
To rid a room of the smell of smoke, you need to know how long the smoker was in the house and how much they smoked. The odor of smoke can linger everywhere, including the furniture, clothing, curtains, and even the walls. In order to get rid of the smoke, you will have to open up all the windows in your house. You can also use ventilators to boost air circulation and increase the speed of the removal.
Cleaning the Bong
If a ring starts building up around your bong's waterline, then you will have to clean the bong. You can also check how clean it is by pouring purified water into the waterline to see if there are any little pieces of residue, weed, or resin remaining. These pieces of weed, rubble, or waxes can mix with bacteria, resulting in mildew that causes that specific bong smell. If you need to clean your bong, follow these steps:
-
Take out the mouthpiece, pipe, and other removable pieces.
-
After removing those pieces, pour 90%+ isopropyl alcohol along with some coarse salt into the bong. The salt can be any type, like Epsom or rock salt.
-
Shake the bong for about four to five minutes.
-
After following the third step, rinse it out with water and soap. You can also use vinegar and rice for this purpose.
-
Lastly, dry your bong to get it ready for use again.
Cleaning Products
You can use Epsom salt and universal cleaning products to clean your bong. Formula 420 Pipe Cleaner and Solimo 99% isopropyl alcohol are the best products used for cleaning purposes for any product that allows smoking. Isopropyl alcohol is very effective, as it is a strong product commonly used in rubbing alcohol and homemade sanitizers.
Whether it is cannabis or simple tobacco, everything we smoke goes into essential parts of our bodies. Inside our bong, mold, fungi, viruses, and bacteria can proliferate, and these organisms can cause respiratory problems and many other health issues. Along with using clean flower, the cleanliness of our smoking items is also essential. Therefore, you should always keep your bong clean.
